What bold Unicode is for
Many platforms give you no formatting at all: an ad headline, a profile bio, a channel description, a comment โ all plain text with no bold. This tool solves it differently: instead of formatting the letters, it swaps them for other Unicode characters that are already drawn bold.
The result is still text. You can copy and paste it anywhere, it will not turn into an image and it survives forwarding. A side effect: automated scrapers and parsers usually fail to recognise it, because the character codes differ from ordinary letters.
How to use it
Type into the top field โ the conversion happens as you type. The bottom field shows the result and the button copies it to the clipboard. Everything runs inside your browser: the text is never sent anywhere.
Latin letters and digits are swapped for bold equivalents; Cyrillic and punctuation stay as they are, because Unicode simply has no bold forms for them.
