Domain blacklist checker
Enter a domain — we'll check it against several anti-spam and reputation lists (Spamhaus, SURBL, Google Safe Browsing) and show you what we found.
We check the domain itself and its IP against public DNS blocklists. Nothing is stored.
Free: 2 of 4 sources, 5 checks per day.

What the check shows
Blacklists are databases of domains and addresses caught sending spam, running phishing or distributing malware. Mail servers rely on them: if your domain is listed, mail from it starts landing in spam or gets rejected at the door — usually with no notice to the sender.
We check both the domain itself and the IP address it points to, and report each source separately, so you can see exactly who flagged it and for what. Alongside it we show the technical basics: IP, name servers and mail records.
Sources we check
| Source | What it tracks | Access |
|---|---|---|
| Spamhaus ZEN | IP reputation | Any plan |
| SURBL | spam messages | Any plan |
| Spamhaus DBL | spam / phishing / malware | Premium |
| Google Safe Browsing | dangerous sites (Google) | Premium |
Frequently asked questions
First find the cause: most often it is a compromised site, an open mail form, or the previous owner of the domain. Once it is fixed you have to request delisting — every list has its own form, linked from the Spamhaus and SURBL sites. Entries are not removed automatically.
Spamhaus DBL and Google Safe Browsing work on quotas tied to our account. On the free plan we check the two open lists so those quotas stay available to paying users.
No, it is read-only. We send ordinary DNS queries — the same thing any mail server does when it accepts a message from you.
